quick question/snap swivel
When trout fishing, thanks to this site I have had some success. My question when using a lure-- top water, plugs, stick baits etc.... for trout on my mono leader I have been tying the leader directly to the lure. I have several light tackle rigs prepared, but find it necessary to switch up different lures. Thus taking time to re-rig and tie a new lure to my mono leader. I just cut the leader at the lure not changing the leader. Would a snap swivel be ok to put at the end of my leader instead of having to tie to my lure all the time? Then making change out quicker or would the swivel throw off the fish?

I've lost too many fish on the flats with faulty snaps and clips. I'd rather retie. Don't take that long.
Wait til you got three people in the boat that don't know how to tie a hook. Makes a man want to break down and buy K-Mart pre rigged swivels with wire leaders. Well....maybe not.

They both speak the truth
You will lose fish and you will change the action
I have tried it "as have most" and gone back to tieing it every time I change out
