[Had the best trip on the flats I have had in many a day today. Got the the ramp about 7:30 am...out the river and turn left toward Econfina. About a third of the way there we stopped...and while I was rigging up my partner caught 3 trout on red &white curlytail. Only could keep 1 of them...but thats just the start. AS soon as I rigged up with a catch 2000..red & white we were into trout like the old days. We were in about 3 feet of water. We quit at 2:30 with at least 50 trout in the boat...kept only 10..but two of them were 4 pounders. Low tide at /about 1030 hrs...high at 4:12. The time of day didn't matter. They bit all day. Must have been 10 -20 years since the bite was constant like this. What a day.rl="http://www.myfishingpictures.com/?p=18377&c=500&z=1"][/url]
I told TinCan we should have went .....Nice Catch F989...... I had plans to head that way to day, but had to change my plans ....Glad you caught them....
I should've called in sick at work and went with you. You had a lot more fun than I did. Got a trip planned to the flats for Monday. Hope the rain holds off. When we gonna eat them fishes?
I'd rather have a bad day on the water than a good day at work!!
