Kevin's is an excellent sporting good store. Wish they would relocate to the central or south part of town, traffic up there is a cluster and parking the truck can be tight.

If Lin isn't there, ask for Miles. He's also very knowledgable and friendly. Great service always, especially with warrantied rods. Walk in with a broken rod and walk out with a new one. Cost ranges from free to $15. Sweet deal

I was turned off from Kevin's years ago when I inquired about them not supporting the NRA with a sticker on the door. I was told that the sticker would possibly turn away business from them and that they did not want to be "associated" with them. This from a store that profits from the very work that the NRA does. I also brought in a rifle "that I bought from them" to get some work done on it due to it having a problem with the safety. I was told to get it out of the store and that they wouldn't touch it. I happen to know that they do gunsmith work for their "higher end" customers but I apparently did not fit that profile. I do go every now and then when I need something "now" but I purchase most of my tackle online. If their selection is the best in town than that does not say much for their competition.

The only business I know of that gets no complaints from their customers is the undertaker.

I get above and beyond service from Kevins and SGO.
I will have no qualms with my undertaker.

I was turned off from Kevin's years ago

that was how I felt too. I have changed my mind, not without them earning it back though. I even ended up buying a high end shotgun from them (after they had earned my trust back).

An awesome store that was started from the ground up and only in Thomasville and Tallahassee. Great products that are hand selected, and traditional to this area. Their staff is family oriented and will get it if they don't have it.
