Aucilla 4/25

Post by brunner2178 »

Went to Aucilla approximately 2:45. Went out of the river and headed to the tripod located on the left hand shoreline. Basically, we spotted a mass of boats and figured something over there had attracted em'. We were right. We limited out in trout, and caught some more just for fun. We also were able to catch 4 reds fishin the reeds and came up with a few spanish to boot. The trout were caught on live shrimp W/ poppin corks, white love lures, and white/pink tail jigs. The reds all on gold spoons. The spanish hit the live shrimp. A great time out on the water (except for the bent trollin motor mount chasin the reds!).

Reds

Post by brunner2178 »

The reds were 26", 23", and one short at about 18". Didn't want to take any chances with that one. We caught em' throwing at the reeds in the numerous inlets.
