NOT Scoopseas oil spill thread

Post by Barhopr »

OK, since I am one of the main derailers of Scoopseas thread I thought I would start another to keep his as clean( pun intended) as it can be. I figure we could post links to articles, local info, boom deployments, discussion etc... Lets not have any "I heard...." or "my brother inlaw said..." unless there are pictures to go along with the BIL story.

Very illuminating story and not surprising, considering this administration's total lack of leadership and ineptness. They're too busy singing Hey Jude with Paul McCartney in the WH to worry about immediate action to stop the spill and mitigate the disaster. I wonder if Michelle is "proud" now?

Good thing you started another thread, BH. I needed to vent after the last few weeks of this crap. Is it November 2012 yet?

So,BH. Your article indicates that Obama approved clean up methods equal trying to empty the Gulf with a pail.
My opinion is that every available resource foreign or domestic should be implemented NOW.
I HOPE things CHANGE on this crisis while there is still time to make a difference.

Didn't we just pay hundreds of millions to fly around the world and apologize for American arrogance?
These other countries should perceive this attitude as arrogance. The unwillingness to accept help.

I have read where seemingly clear seawater is found to have oil in it. Is anyone testing the local waters for any oil contamination?
