Lure ID help...

Post by bman »

I got this a few years ago and its sat in my tackle box.
Well thursday AM it was what the spanish wanted and now I cant find the card that came with it...
Its a lead casting spoon thats 2 inches long and 1/16 of an inch wide
3/4 of an ounce in weight
I remember the card said you could bend it to give it more action.

Just ordered 4 more.Great match to glass minnows.
I used haywire twist to attach them to single strand bronze wire and a small black swivel.
Casts a mile and the Spaniards loved them!

I can see where that lure would slay the Spanish. :smt045 Try dressing it up with a saltwater hook and a ball-bearing swivel. :smt047
To fish, or not to fish, . . . those are the answers.

If you like that spoon you'll probably also like the Crippled Herring spoon from Lhur Jensen
