I slipped out a little early today to act as captain and mate for my wife and my father-in-law. The tides looked good and the wind was a little stiff out of the SE. We launched the Fishin' Trip and headed for the redfish grounds. I really did not have high hopes because it seemes that no one has been doing that well. We fished or they fished for about 2 hours and the bite was hot. First fish caught by my wife was 26 3/4...... next cast cookie cutter 26 3/4 or 27. My father-in-law was next up with a very nice 26 inch red. Wow this has already been a great day. The two of them kept cathing reds for the next hour and a half which made it even better. Thanks Talltails Off to Keaton tomorrow for a little scalloping.

JT/FF, unfortunately that spot has become everyone's hole in recent seasons. Really surprised the school sticks around with all the pressure.
Everyone relax(except JT). I promise that is not the area ya'll are thinking of. KK threw a couple of miles of misdirection out there. FF, your hole is safe from us. Now I can't speak for the other hundred boats that pass it on the weekends
