Keaton 4/23-24

Post by P104 »

Went with friend, got down late fri. and caught 5 nice keeper trout. Sat morn with early start beat the crowd and ended up with 8 keeper trout, several spanish and a 27" cobia. we had numerous spoolings and went up to 30lbs line and discovered it was cobia, never caught them on the flats before always fished bouy lines? Good trip with good friend and didn't have to work on boat so it was a great trip.

Good report P104. Did you fish South or north of the channel?

Great report. Sure sounds good about the Cobia.
"Good Judgement" comes from experience, ... and a lot of that..... results from "Bad Judgement".

Hadn't been to Keaton in two weeks. Is it green or dark brown?
