Tripod Labor Day - Too Crowded?

Post by ceej »

Thinking of taking a few friends out to the Tripod tomorrow for Labor Day but am thinking it may be too crowded to even try. Anyone been last year or on other holidays?

ceej, I wuz there today, and it was not too crowded. I am no longer amazed that holidays on the water aren't as crowded as one might think. Man, don't let the prospect of a crowd keep you away; it won't be that bad.

thanks all, I think we may check it out as you are suggesting. not too afraid of the crowds themselves, just want to be able to find a spot to anchor and not worry about some rented boat with a bunch of amateurs knocking in to us. I've been there where space was limited on a non-holiday weekend so I would imagine Labor Day will be packed.

21ft sea pro with a 150 opti if anyone wants to keep an eye out for me. (i'm missing the "R" and the "O" in the word "Pro" on mine)
