Tarpon on cork

Post by Jumptrout51 »

My team, Warrior Ashley Mock,Junior"fishes my holes" Dice and Jeremy "Grizzly" Adams fished out of Econfina today for the September NFGFC tournament.
Jeremy Adams aka Grizzly landed a 50 pound tarpon caught on a Cajun Thunder and white Gulp.
Troutwise,we came in 2nd place for the tournament.
Not a bad day.
I had to spend most of the day telling them how to fish, but it worked out in the end.

First place of Chad "frosty" Frost and Michael "Preacher" Aman fished my holes out of Econfina too.
Third place of Brian "showboat" Showman and his prettier half Katie "K8show,fished my holes too.
WHOSE FISH IS IT?

It takes three excellent fisherman to carry you to 2nd place...they would probably have finished first if you hadn't have held them back :smt005 :smt005 :smt005

Who won the mystery fish (ladyfish)? Since ladyfish is the poor man's tarpon, does that mean that Grizzly's tarpon qualified for the mystery fish? :smt115
To fish, or not to fish, . . . those are the answers.

Are you finding that the trout have moved in to 4 and 5' of water, or are they out deeper?

Try 3 to 4 feet near big red rock. It worked well for me this weekend.
