Fished a early half of a day on Satdy with Lil Chalk....saw many a poissons rouge's, trout and beaucoup mullet. Problem was tide and the lack of moving wata - jigged a fluke in a reds face for 30 seconds and it didn't even move. Saw over 30 poisson rouges and none wanted anything... was good to be on the wata with Lil Chalk.

Decided I wanted to get after them this afternoon - nobody wanted to go, so I went solo...wind was honking out of the southwest and I decided to pole and fly fish solo :o ....That didn't work out to good, but I tried. Saw a few and had a few eat and swam to the boat to only come unbuttoned. Ended up catching one possion rouge and one trout...it's getting right...hope the tide is better next weekend, these 12 hours tide are great when the bite is on, but suck when it's off.

Nothing broke and the boat ran great...can't wait til next time
