What is even funnier would have been the look on the faces of those 2 thugs when they saw the clerk was packing!
We need more of this kind of stuff. Not snotty nosed, whining liberal cowards. (Oooohhh, Don't shoot me Mr Badguy, or I will call the cops on you!)

And that "former cop" statement is BS about not shooting after they turn and run. (I am sure the press looked hard for an X-cop that would criticize the shooting) There are many cases where the crook ran, got another wind, and returned again shooting.
I say:"Shoot 'em to the ground". A dead thug is NOT 2 things: A witness, and a threat!
