Been fishing this area for years but never hear of a permit around these parts? Is it global warming or what?

Not global warming... almost all of the gulf is included in the permit distribution map, even if they are found in bigger numbers in South Florida and in deeper gulf waters.

Thanks for the confirmation dolphinatic. Yes it is tasty on the grill. it just took a little while longer to cook, due to the thickness.
