Target Hog snapper?
How about it any one try to target Hogfish?,if so what did you do? We have caught 1 grouper fishing, in the mouth-not foul hooked.I have heard from my buddy in Miami,they have tried small jigs tipped with shrimp , Limited success, but they fish shallower than we do. Any suggestions?

I see a lot of them but every time they were caught on Tom or Frank's speargun. Never caught one on a hook.
You just can't fix stupid.

The all tackle IGFA record is only like 23lbs if memory serves. It's hard to target them with hook and line.
