Farewell to Leonard Skinner

Leonard Skinner, the no-nonsense, flat-topped basketball coach and gym teacher whose name is forever linked with Jacksonville’s legendary Lynyrd Skynyrd, died in his sleep early Monday morning. He was 77. :smt051

He sure inspired a wild bunch of Florida Roackers that we Southern Boys continue to blast through our speakers!. May he "Fly High, Freebird". Rest in Peace!
