Econfina ----Negative tides??????

I have a 22 ft bay boat and a jack plate and the tide needs to be +1.5 for me to get out the mouth of the river without sweating. At 1.1 I usually hit something, like last time. Negative tide = No way. I have seen days in the winter with a north wind and no one could get out for days.

What does a Econfina ----Negative tides mean ?????? It means less people thats not from around Econfina staying home so us people can have the gulf to our self hahahahah..
