In Search of her 1st Red

Post by Welby »

After a Birthday surprise trip to a Drive-in Theater in Dothan, AL and a Birthday Saturday of lying around watching some good college football, I decided to extend the enjoyment through Sunday. I told DeeDee, How bout after Church we head to the coast to target your first ever Redfish ? She agreed.......So, we put in around 2:30 with more water at the ramp than I expected and a little more breeze than I expected. We ended up with a total of 5 Reds (3 Keepers and 2 puppies) and 2 keeper trout. DeeDee caught the 2 puppies but at least she can take claim to her 1st ever Redfish.

It was a beauty of a day and wonderful sunset...........

Very nice. Mission accomplished. Now you can set a new goal of a keeper and keep her wanting to go with ya.
Ducks, turkeys, flats fishing. Who has time for golf?
