Got out kind of late 10 am. Fished the bars all day. Caught one 16'' Red on gold spoon and white gulp spinner bait. I walked up and down the bar till 3 pm. Then I saw that my boat was a little high out of the water, it was too late, the back end was stuck. Thanks to Ross at Shell Island Fish Camp and some skills he was able to snatch me off in about 5 good tugs. This is 2 hours after Cost Grad Auxiliary aborted the mission with about 1 more foot of water to work with. But they did let me know that high tide was 10:15 pm and I could just wait till then! Well Ross was not having that and came out in half the power and saved my night. Very nice day will be back to hunt the Reds. Anyone suggest different bait?? Witch side of the bar do you want to fish on when the tide is moving??
