We did manage to get down and fish again this past Saturday but this time I didn’t have to captain and my good friend Blueh2Ofisherman took the reins. We weren’t real happy about the wind situation and therefore didn’t make a mad dash to catch sunrises on the river, rather had an easy breakfast and launched @ 10 hoping the call for calmer afternoon would be accurate. It was still white capping and blowing pretty good out of the NE so we choose not to make any long runs, Todd had brought a friend from N GA that hasn’t been offshore and we really wanted to get the box full up with some meat for him so we got after the grunts and sea basses then managed to find a couple nice grouper, Youngest son Josh had joined us and he managed a little smoker and then Celeste chimed in on a nice 22 in snapper, after catching double after double including a brace of red grouper that went about 18 inches each! She was hooking up something regular but couldn’t get that big fish until the Red snapper from nowhere. We managed some more Keeper Red Grouper thanks the rookie Dave!!

Thanks Todd for all you do and David for a great fun trip!!!

Here are the glamour shots...
