Reading the reports from Tin Can and Sir Reel my day was about like theirs. The number of fish we caught was not big, but the the quality of fish has been great the last two weeks. Tal and myself left the ramp about 10:00 and went west where I have been fishing the last couple of weeks. About the same results. The water was a little more stained than last week but the bite was the same, slow but steady. Was using C/T with candy corn early then went to electric chicken later. The electric chicken produce more fish in a shorter time frame. We ended up wiht 7 keeper trout 17-20 inches and four that were short. If I had any help, and I do mean any help from my partner we would have limited out . Tin Can had mentioned in another post about there seeming to be cobia this year. I have been fishing again now for three years and this is the first year I have even seen a cobia in the boat. Had a 32 inch today on the electric chicken on my trout rod, 10 pound test line, what a great time that was. That is three trips in the last month with a cobia. Must be more around for me to catch fish.
