Trolled 4 hours and bottom fished 2 hours out of st. marks. A major dissapointment....only a few short gags to show for our efforts along with lots of sea bass and grunts. We didnt go deeper than 25ft because we figured the shallow bite had heated up but apparently it has not. It was abit rougher than they called for the night b4..1-2ft was more like 3-4ft blowing 15 outta the north :smt012 ! Oh well...those redfish better watchout this weekend..im gonna leave the grouper to simmer a few more weeks untill i go and and hopefully dont strike out again. We shouldv gone about 15ft deeper i guess but it is November...so i figured it would be on in shallow!

Jhults7, I went and like you only got some shorts. This said, my buddy Sharkman and I watched another boat or two catch keepers and that was in no more than 25' waters, so the timing is definitely close.

Yeah, I saw a boat get 2 keeper gags, 25" and 23" in 18 feet of water. 7 shorts. Still a little early. ;-)
