Why?
If you fish where the fish are in our area a stainless prop is a liability.
But then, if you don't fish where the fish are in our area, get you one.

Just one man's opinion. A SS prop won't flex, giving a better hole shot and overall performance. And I've been running one for years and never had a problem. You just need to avoid the rocks, not run into them.Jumptrout51 wrote:Why?

You are correct SK. The stake line is safe enough for her.
On the other hand,no flex breaks gears.
They cost more than props.

I have a 13 1/4 X 15 Stiletto stainless prop off of a 90hp Yahama for sale. New it was $239 + tax , I'll sell it for $150 and deliver to Tallahassee next week.

Steve, If some sweet, kind gentleman would share where the fish are in our area, I would not only be able to catch more than two fish but I could probably get more points on the board. At least I wouldn't be the laughing stock of the club anymore. Have a good turkey day.

That's easy for this time of year. Just keep running until it sounds expensive then start fishing.

Re: Wanted stainless steel prop
I switched to a stainless steel prop a few years ago and it has worked great - better speed and handling - and so far no problems with bars or rocks.
