NFGFC Christmas Party Updates

Post by Steve Stinson »

Here are a few updates for those of you attending the NFGFC Party tomorrow at 4:00 pm at the Bradfordville Blues Club:

Food will be provided by Coosh's Bayou Rouge Restaurant. I am picking up the food and bringing it to the site, so be there early if you want your food HOT. Dinners are $10 / plate. We have ordered food for 100 people.

I have also arranged for 2 bushels of fresh oysters to be delivered. You will need to bring your own shucking knife and glove. I will pick up some crackers and hot sauce tomorrow.

NFGFC will provide sodas and bottled water. The Bradfordville Blues Club will have beer and wine available for purchase.

Mathew Jacobs has put together quite a collection of raffle prizes. Please remember to renew your NFGFC membership while you are at the party.
You will get one free ticket with your membership renewal. Additional tickets can be purchased for $1 each.

Here are the directions to the Bradfordville Blues Club:
Starting from Exit 301 at the intersection of Thomasville Rd (Hwy. 319) and I-10, go North on Thomasville Rd. approximately 4.5 miles to Bradfordville Road. Turn right onto Bradfordville Rd. and drive 3 miles to Sam's Lane. Look for the Bradfordville Blues Club sign on the right, there should be a lit tiki torch next to the sign. Turn right onto Sam's lane. It is a dirt road that at times is a bit rough but is always passable. Just take it slow and easy, it's not very long. Bear left at the fork in the road. Bradfordville Blues Club just a bit further on up the road at the top of the hill.

IF you have any questions, post them here and I will try to answer them for you. Hope to see all of you there.

Or a credit card? :smt017
To fish, or not to fish, . . . those are the answers.

We don't have any way to accept credit cards, but checks are okay.

Also, one thing I should have clarified in my post above is that meals for kids 12 and under are free.

Thanks - Steve

I have received a couple calls about membership dues. Memberships cost $40 per year, per family. A family is defined as blood relatives living under the same roof. So each person in your family does NOT have to pay $40 annually.

Also, if you are an existing NFGFC member and can not afford to pay for both dinners and membership at this time, please come on out anyway pay for your dinners, then renew your membership in the near future. We do not want any members to miss out on the fun.

I am going to be running errands to pick up items for the party for the rest of the afternoon. If any of you need to reach me, please call my cell at 850-509-3116.

Thanks - Steve
