With the foecast less than favorable, I was going to make it make me cancel before I gave in to a planned day off fishing trip.

Breeze and I hit the ramp about 9AM with more water than I expected. Only one other trailer in the parking lot. Foggy and damp but well within fishing conditions so we headed out in search of a couple of Redfish. We found a few but they were sluggish in the 48 degree water temp. We did get our two, a 25" and a 21" made the ride home. We tried our luck with the trout but could not find them or tempt them. I was so looking forward to making the trip and I was NOT disappointed with the day. What a great place to spend the day with a good friend. We loaded up about 1 PM just before the rain set in....got home and enjoyed a good nap. Great way to spend the day off. I'm glad I didn't give in to the naysayers...

Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas !

I'll ask for the same thing that I asked for last year.....Thank You for Gods Blessings this past year, and a pray for continued Blessings Next year.

Attaboy, Welby. :smt023
To fish, or not to fish, . . . those are the answers.
