Took a long boat ride yesterday. Went to buoy 28, only found a few cigar minnows and some 3# hard tails. Stopped by the Mica and sacrificed an AJ and some red snapper to the cudas. Did get one nice mangrove to the boat. Headed SW to 30 fthms. No weedlines, no rips, no color change, no temp breaks, no sense trolling. Only saw one clump of sargassum about the size of my hat. Bounced an 8 oz jig on the bottom while flat lining the hard tails, nothing. Came back in to 90 feet and finally got one red grouper. Beautiful day on the water, tabs up and throttles down.
