All,
I have a 1999 Yamaha 115. It's been a very good motor having no work done on it to date. About a month ago it begins to run sluggish and a little hard to start.
Install new plugs and still have same problem.
Then take off carbs and clean all the jets and lines and any other material on and around carbs.
Decide not to use same gas in boat tank....(Could be suspected).....Instead I use new gas and a 3 gallon can for first start with cleaned carbs. I pump the ball and watch bowl fill up and ball get hard.
The motor turns over just fine but no start.
Test light reveals no fire at at all four plugs.
Trace all wires, no sign of anything wrong.
Fuse is fine.
My thoughts are with the brainbox.......
Any thoughts or suggestion could help.......Thanks all
