Crept back further into the creek and ran across some others who said the bite was hard, but had nothing of any size. We slide on up the creek and throw anchor in the grass on the LOW tide and chuck a shrimp and jig up creek and Larry is hooked up shortly thereafter and pulls in a rat red. I throw a white paddle tail tipped with a shrimp tail and almost immediately hook a fish with some size to it, Larry was having jig in the throat issues so I asked if he could put the little guy on hold to net the keeper, 22 incher after measuring and throwing the fish in the cooler I told him, “sorry I’m going to catch yours for you”, “yeah right” he says and goes back to work on the poor little guy, he finally unhooks the fish and it swims away right as I set the hook on another good fish! We get him in and it’s another 21.5 in keeper who goes right in the box. We were there 15 minutes and caught 8 fish two keepers. Wevens comes trolling down the creek says hi and keeps rolling around the bend we fish a few more spots and run into JHults on the way to an 18 red day happy to be heading to the hill and out of the wind.

We headed to Lanark to clean up, and then over to Apalachicola for and absolutely fantastic dinner at Up the Creek Raw bar.

Sunday was an absolute wash on the Carrabelle River without as much as a nibble on rather frosty morning. Headed out early and back to Valdosta by Game time.
