Hit the water early so we can be back for a 3:00 T-Ball game.
We went to my Honey hole in 45ft and the first fish was 24" gag. We then had many shorts. The one thing Inoticed was we had a green slime on our bait. I hope the algea bloom hasn't hit this area. We then went to 60ft and had another keeper with more shorts. We had the same thing green slime on our bait. What is this stuff??? I tried a few more rock's in the area not much just shorts. The ride in was flat.
Has anyone else noticed this green slime??

I went out of Mashes around 2:30 Saturday, stoped on the flats long enuf ta get a 22" Trout and then just had ta go Groupa trollin 
and yes, there was that green slimey shi... everywhere 
I did manage two Grouper before the wind and waves forced me in 
be glad that ya had to go in Steve, it got down right ugly for the ride back "expecialy in the ol Bass boat", took two waves over the bow and was soaked from bow to stern by the time I hit the landing
