St. Joe Bay 5/8

Post by birddog »

Tough day on the bay Sat. Gale force winds early. Then flat and smooth as glass with no drifting for about 2 hrs. Then back to a pretty good chop. Ended up with 4 keeper trout up to 22 "and a few shorts. Caught them in 3' - 4' of water on jigs, a silver zara spook, and live pin fish. Kinda slow but it was better than working. Can't wait to go back.

I'm starting on the ends (Keatons and St. Joe) and conquering my way back towards the middle of the Big Bend.
