Trout and reds are plentiful. It takes a little work to locate them, but they are there. Incoming tide. Shallow water. Jerk bait.

My son's bringing a friend so it's just gonna be fun fishing. :-D Catching fish will just be a bonus. How much does it cost to enter and how many people allowed in boat?

$20. And I believe non-members are still allowed to fish one tourney a year without buying a $40 membership so they can see what it's all about. That $40 would be required if you want to fish a 2nd tourney. 4 to a boat I think, but the rules are on the NFGFC.org webpage.

You'll get in on the great food Larry is bringing as well. Boston butts....mmmmmm :lick:

I think non-members can fish a total of two tournaments a year... (unless the rules have changed this year)

the non members have to fish with a member this yr i believe .you can join sat and anybody thats a family member in the same house is automatically a member so your son can fish for free and just would have to pay an extra 5$ for the friend.then after the tourney your welcome to the great food and raffle at the weigh in (anyone fishing gets a ticket) for a lot of great prizes. :-D .the nfgfc membership can get you some discounts with some of the sponsors too .
