Also ignored the weatherman, and fished bars etc. in and around Oyster Bay, Spring Creek and only a little off Shell Point. Net total was 1 15" flounder on a jig in Oyster Bay, as well as several short trout taken on shrimp under a popping float, 1 short red in Spring Creek, and a pretty nice sheepshead (also on a shrimp under a float) off S. Point.

Nice to be back out there, but where did Spring go?

Yea, the wind really was strong out of the south. We fished out of mashes sands yesterday afternoon on our first trip of the season and picked up 6 keeper trout and 3 sheephead, one of them caught on a popping cork with a like shrimp. Kept getting stolen by sheephead on the cork. :evil:
