Ecofina 3/12/11

Post by Hit-n-Miss »

:-D Daniel, my wife and son, a friend of his and I headed to Ecofina. Since is was so cold in the morning we left the house at 8:30. Got on the water at 10:00 and headed out. Water was stained but you could see bottom out to 7'. Water temp was 54-57 all day. Fished from 2.5'-11'. At our 1st stop in front of Hickory mound. My boy caught a 14" trout and I thought it was going to be a good day. . . not. Did not catch anything else all day. The boys had fun boat riding and the weather was great. I guess I should have waited for warmer water temps. Maybe next time can go after sheephead at the reef. :-D
