St. Andrews 03/18

Spring Break'n with Lil Chalk - golf yesterday and gulf today :-D

Lunar calendar said this morning was suppose to be good....first stop showed some reds that were in need of a drink - spooking at the slightest mishap...second spot had some slob-knocker upper slot reds that were on the "chip" as well....third spot was golden and the feed was on. We couldn't do anything wrong for about an hour. Scored seven reds - Lil Chalk got the biggest one again at 30"

Aqua dream spoons and Exudes were eaten today

Nothing broke - fishing with my lil buddy and watching him wrestle that pig in was priceless.

Nice day, nice fish and a real keeper in that young man of yours!

Do you fish anything on the Aqua Dream spoon or fish it like it comes out of the box? I stuck a bass worm on mine this winter in the Aucella and caught a nice red but have not found out exactly how to fish it.

Just be sure to allow the spoon to wobble back and forth, like a cradle rocking. Do not fish it so fast as to cause it to spin. You will not catch nearly as many fish while it is spinning.

Thanks! I'll have to try it some more.

Captain Mike makes the best jig heads I've ever used. Good strong hook and tough paint but I've not had much success with his spoon.

Is a steady retrieve, bump and go or some other retrieve better?
