Keaton 3/20/11

Post by Atticus »

Fished with Tom and we ran North through the fog early towards a waypoint ominously named "minefield"

Started off with a topwater trout that I could have used in the tourney - 19.9inches. My hat is on backwards because we had recently stopped running.

We fought the low tide for a while then the fog burned off and the water started moving we put a total of 10 trout in the boat. Mostly on Ty Smithed jerkbaits (I was throwing 5" Zoom flukes in white)

Tom put a decent red in the boat as well. The redfish was gut hooked and died during surgery so he came home and was grilled up with a little Mrs. Dash at my place last night.

Water temp started out around 67.5 and was up to 70 by the time we stopped checking it.

Nice fish, guys. But Atticus, what in the world are you doing wearing a Mets hat in Braves country?

Oh, that's right, the Mets don't have a major league team anymore. Sorry, I forgot.
