SGI Trout and Spanish

Post by Scoop Sea »

Has anyone done any good lately over at SGI fishing for trout or Spanish? I'm headed over later this week and am wondering if anyone has done any good. I'm hoping some of you other "Spring Breaker Dads" that have already gotten over there can provide some intel. Thanks. Chris

The Spanish are EVERYWHERE  and the Trout should be moving out, but may not be out that far yet. Hopfully someone who has been over there recently will chime in

That is good news. I plan on making a trip down in a month for some of the above and, hopefully some pompano in the surf.

Thanks Culrich for the intel. I will be down Wednesday night and hope to fish Thurs - Saturday. I'll be in a Sea Pro SV 2100. I'll most likely put in at the Park and work the East End, however, depending on crowds, etc. I may also just put in at the "oysterman's launch" and head west to little SGI. Either way, if the weather is good, I'll be out there giving it a try. If you see me don't hesitate to give me a shout. Take Care. Chris
