Spring break, so a buddy of mine and I took our daughters fishing. My boat is still at the doctors, so we borrowed my old boat from my brother.
Well, it was windy. It just picked up as the day went on and the girls finally had enough. We caught 2 nice trout, one just keeper size and a bunch of shorts. Not tons, but enough to keep it fun. They got a double hook up on Spanish and that was a chinese fire drill keeping their line from tangling and landing both fish. We started at the buoy line, but caught all fish in less than 4'. It was overcast until early afternoon, but it was real windy by then too. All in all a fun day with our daughters.
My daughter and her pal with their double hook up.
It was their spring break so we headed in and had lunch at Riverside. A nice day.

St Marks today
Ducks, turkeys, flats fishing. Who has time for golf?
Re: St Marks today
If it was as windy there as it was here in south Georgia then you had some wind to deal with. Nice mackerel, seems yall had fun despite the wind.

Great trip. Thanks for the report. Those spanish are about as big as I ever see. Good line pulling.
