I don't free dive so I was not with them ,but they went out of Mashes Sands and they can hold their breath about 1 minute to 2-1/2. My guess is about 35-55 ft. There clanish and don't talk too much. Got one of them on video face down in a pool, lifeless, no movement ,with dive partner near, he held his breath for 5:02. They dive year round to stay in shape.
