I thought he knew a short cut the last we launched there.

I would like to see all f them slot tournaments but some do not agree.
Also will be a SeaTrout Shootout coming at the end of August which will be slot fish only more details to come shortly.
Side bet: 2 to 1 says Matthew’s Fishin Stix rod won't be won at any of those.

Never been on the Econfina. Noticed a dirt road - "Mossy Hammock Grade" - on a satellite photo. It's across the river from the state park launch and appears to dead end at a side creek that empties into Econ about halfway to the gulf. Anybody know if that is private or public? Trying to find a place on Econfina where I can launch my canoe w/o needing to paddle all morning to reach flats/creeks.

If such a spot exists, I'll register for another Saturday of punishment...

I thought you had power now. You didn't like the motor?
Is Mossy Hammock the road that takes you into HM? If so you don't have to paddle far at all from that launch to be on the flats and in fish. Mot sure if that is something the TD would allow. Sounds like you should come Thursday and talk with Warrior.
Hope to see there.

Didn't know you needed a motor boat to compete.

I don't, but all tourneys are differnt. Ya'lls club tourneys are more of a laid back get together affair. It's fun chunking lures from a boat with company. Just sayin :D

I did spring for the expensive 3hp equivalent electric (lithium battery) motor, but haven't taken it out of the box yet. First use will definitely be on familiar water, so when I run out of juice I'll know exactly how far I gotta paddle...

Hence the concern about Econfina. The gulf looks like quite the water hike from the State Park ramp.

Talltails, so far I don't have a partner, but I do have a boat. :smt004
To fish, or not to fish, . . . those are the answers.
