Quick question: I have read on here that someone posted that fishing in the river channel between the markers is illegal. Is that true? Never done it but was curious. Can you troll up and down the river?

I did a little trolling today just outside the channel. Nothing going on there. The water was stained from the rain. Better out on the flats now in over 4' of water. I hear they are still tearing them up at the East pass at St. George. Someone said you can catch all you want off the beach there. Usually it's the same at St. Andrews State Park in Panama City for another week (at deep water point or off the jetties).
