Keaton 4/1/11

Post by manley »

NOAA whiffed it this morning... slick calm with no wind at all. They got it right, small craft use caution in the afternoon.

Slow day, with the cold front last night, but as my friend Raul said, "bad day fishing is still better than any day working."

Caught probably 15 assorted trash fish, shorts, etc. and 4 keepers to 24". Water temperature hit a high of 70.4* before the wind ran us off the water just after the bite turned on about 1:00. Was a rough, wet ride in, but back home by 4:00 with the boat and fish cleaned.

Big fish of the day:

The handlers at witness protection must be on vacation.

Nice report.

Did the NYTimes ever figure out how much gas you were burning in your lawnmower?
