TWO OF MY FRIENDS AND I ARE HEADING TO ECONFINA IN THE MORNING, NEITHER OF US HAVE BEEN IN OVER A YEAR AND WE NEED SOME RELIABLE INFORMATION ON WHERE THE TROUT ARE. I WOULD THINK THEY WOULD BE A LITTLE TO THE EAST OF ECONFINA IN 3-5 FT. OF WATER AROUND THE ROCK GRASS AND STRUCTURE. WE WILL APPRECIATE ANY INFORMATION THAT IS RECENT.
THANKS

Go west toward Aucilla. The water east is way too clear. Stay between 3 and 4 foot deep. (move wih the tide) Fish hard 1 hour before and after low tide. White and pink grubs under a popping cork produced for us Friday and Saturday following this pattern.

Agreed. East was way slow after 8am Saturday and very clear. Had more action going west and fished in the 4 ft. depth. MirrorLures were the trick for us
