PowerPole: Like a sore rump......you just cant beat it!!
I can assure you that in the world of boat anchors, nothing beats Powerpole and their service. Just got off the phone with Paul at Powerpole and even though Ive had my Powerpole for 18 or so months, he warrantied the remote box sensor. Things are gonna break, without a doubt, but its timely and awesome customer service these guys offer that will always have a Powerpole on the back of any boat named Bad Behavior!!! Even had he of not been able to warranty the box, just the courteous and friendly way the entire ordeal was handled is a bonus of owning such a fine product!!

BB's experience is first hand.
If you have a first hand experience let us know so that we can make an informed judgement.
Of course I am assuming BB did not have to use my name to get Red Carpet Service.

PP Warranty states:
The Hydraulic Power Unit (Stealth Pump) which proves defective within (18) months from date of purchase will be repaired or replaced free of charge. Pump damage due to submersion or excessive exposure to water may void this warranty. This Warranty does not cover water damage in any way.

My power pole is by far the best investment I have made for my boat! Those Minn Kota Talon things just look ridiculous on the back of a boat! Power pole all the way, going on 2 years without 1 problem!

Re: PowerPole: Like a sore rump......you just cant beat it!!
Finished the install on my new Signature Power-Pole today and plan to christen it this week. I resisted for as long as I could for aesthetic purposes but practicality finally won out. The ease of operation, the fishability and the PP reputation for solid customer service convinced me it was time to take the plunge. It will definitely be more convenient to stay atop the poling platform and keep the boat in the zone when a school of reds or other finny targets swim into range.
