Spent Easter weekend with the in-laws on CSB. Friday before we arrived they went flounder fishing for a couple hours and caught 4 flounders along with a 30" red.
Saturday morning was just the father in law and myself. From 7-12 we managed about a dozen trout all between 19-22. I lost a nicer trout and 2 reds.
Easter morning we surf fished with the girls and caught 2 pomps, several whiting and a big sheepie. Easter dinner consisted of pompano, stuffed flounder, scallops and shrimp. A wonderful way to spend the holiday.
If you're still deciding whether or not to fish the May tourney, now is the time to be there. Water is beautiful and fish are hungry.
