St. Marks 4/22 & 4/23
I don't have the pics off my wife's iPhone yet but thought I'd share. We made it to Shell Island Fish Camp around midnight Thursday night. Got up the next morning, put the boat in the water, grabbed some shrimp and headed to the flats. Fishing in the morning was a little slow both days but it definitely picked up as the day went on. Ended up catchin my limit on Friday and the wife put two more in the cooler. All fish were 16 to 18 inches and all fat. This was after weeding through a bunch of sharks, ladyfish, and hardheads. Pretty much same on Saturday. Day started slow and ended pretty good. My wife caught one that went 20.5 inches and missed one that was quite a bit larger. Weeded through a bunch of sharks, cats, etc and ended up with 4 nice trout 17 to 20.5 inches and 3 nice spanish in the cooler. 2 day total was 11 keepers and 3 spanish. All were caught on white gulp shrimp, white gulp 7 inch jerk shads, and live shrimp all under a cork. Caught in 3 to 5 feet of water east of the lighthouse halfway to the rock garden. Went as far as east as black rock and even visited the west flats but the fish weren't there. So we drifted that area most of the weekend. I'll post some pics as soon as I have them. Hope everyone else had a good weekend.

Here's a picture of the catch before cleaning them tonight. The big one is on top.
