Wakulla Beach question

Post by Mean Bone »

99% of my fishing is freshwater. Looking to change that.

At low tide how shallow is Wakulla Beach? Is the bottom in this area generally sandy or does it get mucky after you leave the beach area?

I'll be fishing from a kayak.

Thanks!

Only worry is low tide leaving me stranded out a hundred yards or more and having get out and plow through the muck back to the launch site.

Is that a concern?

Been there, done that... your worry is legitimate! That should answer your original question concerning sand versus muck. ;-)
