A new Toy... 94 4Runner

Post by bman »

Had to share a new toy I picked up today- a 1994 Toyota 4Runner.
A client is moving and wanted to sell it... His wife really wanted him to sell it so I got a crazy good deal.
Its in nearly perfect shape. Officially it has 160K miles but Toyota replaced the engine at 60K because of some warranty problem.

Body is in fantastic shape... Just a few door dings and scratches. Actually nicer than it needed to be.
Image
Its also Four Wheel Drive and a 5speed stick shift. The Stick is taking me a little to get used to... Haven't driven one in years.
Already has a 2" hitch and is wired for trailer lights.

The plan is this will be my Fishing/Hunting truck. I can get it messy and have fun without worrying about getting my work truck dirty.
Planning on a few Fishing and Hunting stickers on the back window... and probably some camouflage trim and accessories ;-)

I liked it so much, I bought the company ;-)

Congrats, that's a nice ride. My wife put almost 300K on her 1988 4-Runner before we had to say goodbye to it, great vehicle. Those and the early 1990s Isuzu Troopers were workhorses, I put 250K+ on a 1992 Trooper and was never left stranded on the side of the road.

I have the Import version of that , a Toyota Surf, its my shooting /fishing wagon.
3.5 turbo diesel , 4x4, high/low ratio, all the bells and whistles.
Over 10 years of trouble free motoring.

This is the only picture I can find, if you look closely, you can see the NFGFC sticker in the back window and the BigBendFishingNet one in the side window.
