Ethanol Free Gasoline

Post by Allnighter »

It seems like everyone is having problems from Ethanol, I started using Eli Roberts Oil for my fuel purchases they have ethanol free gas. I found out about them and started using the sevice during duck season, due to the fact of more that one occasion I was late getting to my spot because of water in the fuel. I started using it I the flats boat and it is running a lot stronger and Im going through way less fuel filters in both motors. Here is a link to their website www.eliroberts.com they can set up an account at their 24/7 fuel card system and/or they also have a list of stores that carry ethanol free fuel. I like the 24 hour card system personally becuase its on Lake Bradford road which is on my way out of town. Also there is no telling what time I might get headed out of town. I just stop in when ever swipe the card and head south.
This is the card with all the info on it. My scanner is down so, sorry about the picture.

Shields Marina in St. Marks has carried non-ethanol fuel since "corn liquor" was first introduced.

Bert Thomas gas station just south of Woodville on 363 is also now advertising non-ethanol marine gas as other sources on the way or at the coast.

That's fine, I know that not everybody goes out of st.marks, especially my fellow duck hunters and lake fishermen. I'm just trying to offer other options also. Like I said the 24 hours thing is the biggest pull for me.

Yellow Pine Truck stop on US-90 east of Madison carries ethanol free gas.

My chain saw man advised me to use Star Tron Enzyme fuel treatment in ethanol gas for all my small engines. It really works! Can be purchased at WalMart in an eight oz. bottle that treats 128 gallons of gas. It is amazing how good my small engines run after sitting up for several months.

No offense taken, Allnighter. The 24-hour convenience is nice. Just trying to let folks know about some other options as well.

SS-342, thanks for the tip. My lawn tractor ran a little rough. Going to treat my home tanks with Star tron. It is good stuff.

Do you have to have an account with Eli Roberts to get the ethanol free gas? Can you fill up your car with it? And does it cost more than "regular" 87?
