Need help for Reds at night.........

Post by newfornow »

New to board, about 10 yrs fishing locally............

Wanted to try a few creek spots I have for reds at night, but have never tried it. I saw last year some pics of guys who were doing some night fishing for reds. Please advise if you can.

1. Certain time of year that is preferred.............heat of summer????
2. Any preferred time of night...............early, midnight or closer to daybreak???
3. Preferred bait and rigging...........I'm a live shrimp guy mostly on bottom or floating.
3a. Do I just fish it same as I do during the day or anyhting differetn about night??
4. Preferred moon.

Any other tips or advise would be awesome. Long time lurker, first time poster. Thanks in advance.
