Coastal Angler Magazine Mix-up...???

Post by Jhults11 »

A buddy of mine texted me a pic of myself holding a 25" trout I caught off lanark a month ago with my dad. The funny thing about it was he took a pic of the pic in an article with his cell phone. The picture was posted in an articel in the Tampa Bay Coastal angler magazine under the Clearwater/Tarpon Springs area. I find this kind of funny seeing that the only place I posted this picture was on this website and facebook. I guess they go on this site and gank pics and post them in an article about a place thats 200 miles from here lol  !! I even saw a pic of skitterwalk holding a redfish out of his kayak!! His pic was under an add for Barracuda Bobs Redneck Baitslingers & Fishing Adventure Outfitters, located in Dunedin Fl.....Unless ol skitterwalk has relocated for the summer to go work down there with them, Im guessing they took a pic of him off the website as well and stuck it in their magazine..lol...whats the deal skitterwalk, u down there or did they copy and paste ur pic too lol. Not ragging the magazine at all...i personally like it and think its informative and entertaining, but just find it kind of strange.. :smt009 ....
Here are the two pictures....

Why are you wearing long sleeves and gloves? It's like 99 degrees outside

RC - It's one of those newfangled techno microfiber shirts... keeps the sun off and breathable so you stay cool... it was a nice day... The gloves were to keep most of the stinky slime off my hands and for some protection from those needle teeth... :)

Demon - I just took a set of nose pullers and stretched him out so I could get him in the slot!!!

I'm with ya now. I saw the life jacket and for some reason thought it was a jacket.

Yeah, the Lake is 25' above summer pool and still lots of debris out there... That vest is very comfortable and all I do is unhook my kill switch cord and I'm fishing.... best investment I've made for sure...... Not worth risking my life over a fish.....

Hey Tim you're going to have to start over saturating the colors in your pix and flaten the brim of that hat if you want to hang with the Skinny Water crew.
