Post by CuttinAPath »

Why is it that there are only trout tournaments around here? I realize theres the redtrout and theres always a big red prize, but lets see a traditional 2 redfish tourny! Dont get me wrong I love to trout fish speciallly for the big'ns but lets get a 2 red tourny sometime.

Since you don't like those options, figure it out yourself.

Really?

There's hardly a free weekend between now and Labor Day with inshore tournaments and most, if not all, have a redfish division. Seems like that would satisfy most. But then again, that's why I fish during the week and stay off the water Saturday and Sunday.

I was really just messing around with the next comment, but Keaton and Steinhatchee is a little far for me. I know most of the tourneys do have a redfish division, but I would love for a 2 fish tournament to pop up.

The NFGFC will let you borrow a set of scales, a weigh basket and measuring board to get you started.

Possibly, but you're gonna need a dang good plan before somebody is going to pony up their money and product.
